Dr. Kern Singh Attends Inaugural UBE Masterclass Hosted by ESUBE in France
Dr. Kern Singh recently attended the inaugural Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE) Masterclass, hosted by the European Society of Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (ESUBE) in Montpellier, France, from May 8–10, 2025. This landmark event brought together leading surgeons and distinguished researchers from around the world to advance innovation in biportal endoscopic techniques and minimally invasive spine surgery.
Dr. Singh was the only spine surgeon from the United States selected to serve as an in-person keynote speaker—an exceptional honor. He presented on advanced UBE cases, including facet cyst excisions and adjacent level stenosis, as well as the American experience with UBE. Dr. Singh shared his extensive expertise with attendees in hopes of continuing to inspire orthopedic surgeons worldwide.
His participation highlights the growing movement to bridge international gaps in surgical innovation. Dr. Singh’s insights were instrumental in encouraging broader adoption of biportal endoscopic spine surgery in the United States.
